Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup will each have her own exclusive Happy Meal toy. Fans can collect all six Powerpuff Girls toys, which will also feature supervillain Mojo Jojo.

BWI Licensing Appointed to Represent Match of the Day

Brands with Influence has been announced as the licensing agency for one of the UK’s most iconic and loved TV shows - Match of the Day. With over 50 years of heritage and genuine appointment to view status, this key sport brand is now being made available for licensing.
Dom Wheeler from BWI Licensing said: “Match of the Day is a unique property that brings together audiences across all ages and we are really excited about the opportunity to develop this key sports brand. There are few non team specific sports brands that can boast the loyal audience that watches Match of the Day.”

Sony/ATV Names Epic Rights as Global Licensing Agent for Lennon-McCartney Song Catalog

Epic Rights will develop the worldwide licensing program for lyrics written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney by signing licensees and retailers in apparel, home furnishings, wall art, stationery, and gift products.
The songwriting partnership of John Lennon and Paul McCartney produced more than 180 songs between 1962 and 1969. These comprise the Northern Songs Lennon-McCartney song catalog, owned by Sony/ATV Music Publishing.
The company will present the brand at the upcoming Licensing Expo in Las Vegas.


Come to Tea in Vegas with the British Museum

The British Museum, the UK’s most visited attraction, will be represented at its first-ever appearance at this year’s Licensing Expo, promoting this unique institution and its potential as a licensing partner.
At the show, representatives of the British Museum will occupy a specially reserved area on A170, the stand of specialist brand agency TSBA Group, recently appointed to help build a global licensing campaign on behalf of the Museum.
Visitors are invited to visit A170 and hear about the wealth of exciting opportunities the Museum provides for licensees in a range of categories. There will also be a special daily event called Tea @ Three, which visitors can book to enjoy some tea and cake, and meet representatives of both the British Museum and TSBA.
The British Museum licensing programme has three main aims: to communicate the Museum and its values to a wide audience; to promote the Museum’s role telling the story of cultural achievement throughout the world; and to raise awareness of the British Museum as a museum for the world.

Crash Bandicoot Returns in Skylanders Imaginators and in Remastered Classics

Celebrating his 20-year anniversary, Crash Bandicoot is back as Activision Publishing Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard Inc., features the pop-culture video game icon as a guest star in Skylanders Imaginators.
Revealed during the Sony Interactive Entertainment America LLC. (SIEA) E3 Press Conference, Crash Bandicoot will maintain his quirky personality both as a fully playable Skylander Sensei character and brand new toy in Skylanders Imaginators. 
Activision will also bring back Crash Bandicoot in fully remastered versions of the first three Crash games Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot: Warped for PlayStation 4, planned for release next year.
Developed by Toys For Bob, Skylanders Imaginators supports more than 300 Skylanders from previous games and will launch on October 16 in North America.

Deer Little Forest Lights up Germany

Koko Rose Media and German Agent Brand Licensing by Burda (Herbert Burda Media) are pleased to announce the launch of a collection of Deer Little Forest lamp shades in the German Market, with local housewares partner, Olala Lamps.

CPLG to Represent Felix the Cat Across North America and EMEA

DreamWorks Animation appointed CPLG to represent Felix the Cat across EMEA and North America.
CPLG will establish Felix the Cat as a cross-category lifestyle brand by creating a range of products that target teens and young adults. CPLG will launch Felix the Cat in the fashion category at retailers late this year, with a full cross-category rollout beginning next year.

Style guides will draw upon the wealth of assets within the archive that date back nearly 100 years. Created in 1919, Felix the Cat was one of the first animated characters and moving images to broadcast on TV.

Edge Brands Partners with Moose Toys for Shopkins Swim Products

Edge Brands entered a licensing agreement with Moose Toys to create a new line of safe and fun Shopkins swim products.

Edge Brands will introduce eight new products, including swim goggles, diving rings, a dive disc, splash balls, and dive sticks for kids ages 6 and up. The line is set to launch next spring.

INK to Extend BRIO globally

INK Global is set to represent BRIO – the Swedish toy company - thanks to a new worldwide deal spanning merchandise, publishing and promotions
INK Global will implement a focused brand extension program designed to bring further joy to BRIO consumers and fans. Initial target sectors include baby care, homewares/interior design and textiles, with first product launches expected in Q2 2017. The Kratt Brothers Co. Enters Licensing Agreement with Whole Foods Market and AME

The Kratt Brothers Co. and 9 Story Media Group’s Wild Kratts has entered into licensing agreements for Wild Kratts sleepwear with American Marketing Enterprises Inc. (AME) and Wild Kratts grocery with Whole Foods Markets in the U.S. and Canada. The Kratt Brothers Co. will showcase the latest Wild Kratts product lineup at Licensing Expo 2016 in the PBS Kids booth M242. The Wild Kratts licensing program will launch at retail this August.
The partnership with Whole Foods opened up a new distribution channel for Wild Kratts and series-inspired Creature Crackers packaged cookies, kids’ vitamins, lunch totes, body washes, and bubble bath for kids, which will launch this August. AME will design an extensive range of kids’ sleepwear, including pajama sets, sleep, shirts, tanks and gowns, sleep pants and shorts, robes, blanket sleepers, wraps and ponchos, boys boxers, boxer briefs and briefs, thermal underwear, and sleepwear. The Kratt Brothers Co. partnered with Isaac Morris Ltd., for Wild Kratts-style printed T-shirts, hoodies, and bottoms to debut at Kmart and Fred Meyer stores this spring. Additional partners include master toy licensee Wicked Cool Toys, Pressman Toy for games and puzzles, Random House Children’s Books for books, PBS Distribution for DVDs, PBS Kids for apps, and InCharacter for costumes.  
The live-action animated Wild Kratts series, produced by The Kratt Brothers Co. and 9 Story Media Group, is now in its fifth season and airs daily on PBS Kids. The series airs in more than 180 countries in 18 languages. Season Three of Wild Kratts is available on Netflix in the U.S.

Dundalk Signs with Knockout for Little House on the Prairie

Knockout Licensing has signed Dundalk LeisureCraft, Inc. as the newest Little House on the Prairie licensee.

Rubie’s Costume Co. has appointed Natasha Muraszew as the licensing manager. Muraszew has extensive brand licensing and marketing experience and will manage Rubie’s licensed character brand business.

Mercis bv has appointed m4e AG to represent Miffy in the German-speaking territories.

Pineapple Express Partners with The Sharpe Co. to Develop Trademark/Brand Licensing Extensions for the THC brand

Pineapple Express Inc. entered an agreement with licensing agency The Sharpe Co. to develop brand strategy, positioning, and lifestyle merchandise for the company’s THC brand. 
With more than 40 years of intellectual property licensing experience, The Sharpe Co. specializes in bringing pop culture intellectual property to the world with clients such as Rubik's Cube, Mr. Bean, and Norton Motorcycles.
The Sharpe Co. will introduce the THC brand at the Las Vegas Licensing Expo June 21 to 23 at Mandalay Bay Convention Center.

TSBA in Photography Deals

TSBA Group has been appointed by Iconic Images as licensing representatives for the photography of Terry O’Neill and Baron Wolman.
Both photographers archives are supported by international gallery exhibitions and publishing giving potential licensees in apparel, home and housewares, gifting, back to school, stationary and many other categories the opportunity to work with some iconic images of iconic stars in a well supported and recognised programme.

The Wiggles Brand Extends Worldwide

The Wiggles is building on its in Australia on ABC Kids with recent content acquisitions from TV3 in Ireland, DD National in India, Playkids, and Netflix. With these partnerships, kids worldwide will be able to watch The Wiggles, Ready, Steady, Wiggle! series. The new partnerships extend the series to 190 additional countries, opening up new touring opportunities, according to Managing Director Paul Field.

One Entertainment Teams with Soccer’s World Champions

DFB-Wirtschaftsdienste GmbH, a fully owned subsidiary of the German soccer federation Deutscher Fußball-Bund (DFB), has appointed Las Vegas-based One Entertainment to be its licensing agent for the German national soccer team in the U.S., Mexico and Canada.
The German national team is the current FIFA World Cup Champion, and one of the most storied national soccer teams in the history of the game.
Under the agreement, One Entertainment will develop a licensing program in key product categories across North America. The first product lines are expected to hit retail for Christmas 2016.

UYoung Culture & Media Co. Ltd. Opens Los Angeles Subsidiary

UYoung Culture & Media Co. Ltd., a Chinese entertainment company, will launch a base in the U.S. to create brands that appeal to both Chinese and international markets. The new division of the company, UYoung Entertainment International Inc. (UEI), will be based in Los Angeles. 
UEI will debut at the 2016 Licensing Expo in Las Vegas with the launch of animated comedy preschool series P. King Duckling. The series is set to premiere on Disney Junior in the U.S., Latin America, India, Korea, and Southeast Asia later this year. 
UEI appointed Sander Schwartz and Elie Dekel as senior advisors to the company to support UYoung’s launch of P. King Duckling and advise the company on its international expansion plans and growth strategies.

Billboard Partners with CPLG to Expand International Brand Licensing in EMEA

Billboard Media Group has appointed CPLG to represent the brand’s licensing initiatives for products and retail for charts, news, business, and innovations in music, and to amplify its international portfolio of consumer product categories.
The licensing agreement will include an array of merchandise categories from apparel and accessories to audio and electronics, stationery, food and beverage items, toys and games, and music compilations, in addition to other products for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

Annual Licensing Expo Fun Run

On Tuesday, June 21, the 22nd annual Fun Run will take place in Las Vegas. Participants will meet at the front door of the Mandalay Bay lobby at 6:30 a.m. After a warm-up jog to the “Welcome to Las Vegas” sign, runners will pose for a photo and begin the run. The run is approximately 2 miles. Those who wish to participate do not have to RSVP.
The run is organized by Building Q and open to everyone in the industry.

I have 8 years experience of working for a large London Publishing house licensing book content to third parties. I am looking for a role which utilises my skills in negotiation and relationship building and can develop my experience within the licensing field. Having licensed book content to a wide variety of customers from national Newspapers to international Publishers I would relish the experience to work in a new industry, licensing new content to new clients.
